I hope your summer is going well. I’m writing to share an important update for the 2025–2026 school year that will help enhance student learning across our district.
Beginning this fall, all MelNAP schools will have a weekly early release every Tuesday from September through April. On these days, students will be dismissed one hour earlier than usual to provide time for teacher collaboration and professional development—critical tools that help us improve instruction and support student success.
Here are a few key details for families to note:
- Bus transportation will run as usual, just one hour earlier on Tuesdays.
- For students who walk or are picked up, please plan for pick-up one hour earlier.
We know schedule changes affect family routines and appreciate your support. This initiative reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring all students receive high-quality education every day.
