The Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Schools Operations Department plays a major role in maintaining our district facilities. The department covers everything from building repairs and construction to lawn maintenance and snow removal. All custodial tasks fall under the umbrella of the Operations Department.
In addition to maintaining district buildings, the Operations Department is responsible for running district inventory, coordinating mail service to all buildings, and making deliveries to all district buildings. It is also the department in charge of district purchasing, which includes receiving bids, compiling purchase orders, and vetting new vendors.
The Operations department is fully invested in ensuring that the students and staff of Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Schools are learning and working in safe buildings, both structurally and security-wise.
