Crisis Text Line is here for any crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment.

 

 

This website will help those in 6 counties of S.E. Michigan, find the resources they need in the privacy of their own home or office or even on your phone! This website offers not only well-known agencies in S.E. Michigan, but private and religious organizations which other "information agencies" do not offer.

 

 

The Michigan Department of Education, in collaboration with the School Based Mental Health Professionals Coalition (consisting of Michigan Association of School Social Workers, Michigan Association of School Psychologists, and Michigan School Counselor Association), has created a Return to School Toolkit. The toolkit offers school community members and stakeholders effective tools and resources needed to help plan for the road back to the classroom.

 

 

During times of crisis, our students need extra support to process their emotions. Our Michigan Cares Portal offers Michigan families and educators FREE digital lessons designed to help students in grades K-12 develop the skills required for social, emotional, and mental well-being. This portal will be freely available until the end of the 20-21 school year.

NIH is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

 

 

The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Wayne County residents can call the Wayne Mobile Crisis Unit number if they are in a crisis. The mobile crisis team will be dispatched to your location.

Dozens of social services and emergency assistance programs are administered by the Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency. The organization provides services that offer both short term help and long term relief. Assistance may be available for rent, food, utility bills, job searches, foreclosure counseling and much more. They operate across the region, including in both metropolitan Detroit and Wayne County.
