1:1 Learning Plan

Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Public Schools believes instructional technology is essential for student success. Moving forward, we believe that it is important to rethink education and approach student learning in new ways in order to improve equity and opportunity for all of our students. This strategic and structured plan is our vision to make everywhere, all-the-time learning possible.

Drive Up device support/repair will be available available on Tuesdays and Thursdays located at the High School main entrance from 7:00-10:00 A.M. and 4:00-7:00 P.M.

It is our goal to provide every student with the essential technology and skills they will need to be collaborative, lifelong learners – not only will technology be a topic of instruction, but it will also be used to support and enhance teaching and learning across all grade levels and subjects. Safe and responsible technology use is also embedded throughout the EdTech experience.

The Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Public Schools Mission Statement is to provide an educational environment which will challenge and prepare students academically and socially to make a positive impact on the future. This 1:1 initiative will support this environment.

All learners will have engaging and empowering learning experiences in both formal and informal settings that prepare them to be active, creative, knowledgeable, and ethical participants in our globally connected society.

Educators will be supported by technology that connects them to people, data, content, resources, expertise, and learning experiences that can empower and inspire them to provide more effective teaching for all learners.
