Gaming Titles

The Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Esports program currently offers four titles for students to compete in. Each title is has several dedicated coaches that work with our students to help them achieve not only great in game success but academic success as well. We are currently competing in several leagues such as the Michigan High School Esports Federation, PlayVS, and Lawrence Tech State Champs. In addition, students will have the opportunity to compete in several tournaments throughout the year including in-state and out-of-state competitiong. LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

League of Legends is a team-based strategy game where two teams of five powerful champions face off to destroy the other's base. Choose from over 140 champions to make epic plays, secure kills, and take down towers as you battle your way to victory.

OVERWATCH

Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Described as a "hero shooter", Overwatch assigns players into two teams of six, with each player selecting from a large roster of characters, known as "heroes", with unique abilities.

Ages: 13+

ROCKET LEAGUE

Rocket League is a fantastical sport-based video game, developed by Psyonix (it's “soccer with cars”). It features a competitive game mode based on teamwork and outmaneuvering opponents. Players work with their team to advance the ball down the field, and score goals in their opponents' net.

VALORANT

Valorant is a one team-based tactical FPS set in the near-future. Players play as one of a set of agents, characters designed based on several countries and cultures around the world. In the main game mode, players are assigned to either the attacking or defending team with each team having five players on it. Agents have unique abilities, each requiring charges, as well as a unique ultimate ability which requires charging through kills, deaths, or spike actions.
