The traditional branch consists of two staff members, Melissa Pruner, Network Technician, and David Patterson, Computer Technician. Ms. Pruner and Mr. Patterson install and maintain all of the District's hardware and software systems as well as all of the systems required to support them. With over 3000 user devices, we never have a dull moment!

 

Dr. Sorrano had the vision and foresight to hire two Instructional Technology Coaches in the summer of 2017. At the end of January 2020, the District decided to expand the team to four members for the 2020-2021 school year. Thanks to our School Board, we have the staff in place to support our Teachers and Students through any obstacles that come our way. Our Instructional Technology Coaches have always supported our staff in embedding technology into lessons preparing our students to be lifelong learners in preparation to enter a workforce that becomes more dependent on technology every day. Student success is our priority! During the COVID-19 Global Crisis, we have shifted to supporting the districts 1:1 device program and online learning. Our talented team, Kaelyn Bullock, Kerry Guiliano, Angela Webster, and Teresa Sharkey, focus on research-based teaching techniques that are proven to increase student success and keep aware of educational trends across the globe. Whether face-to-face, online, or a hybrid of the two, MelNAP is equipped to continue driving student success!
