Baby Birds Early Childhood Center
Welcome to Baby Birds Early Childhood Center! We are excited to welcome you and your child to our early childhood community. Our center is proud to offer high-quality early learning opportunities designed to meet the individual needs of our youngest learners.
At Baby Birds Early Childhood Center, three different programs operate within our center: Young 5s, Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), and Special Education Preschool. While all three programs share our beautiful early childhood center, each program has different eligibility requirements, schedules, and services.
Young 5s Program
Our Young 5s program is designed for children whose birthdays fall between September 2, 2021, and December 1, 2021. This program provides children with an additional year of developmentally appropriate learning and preparation before entering kindergarten.
Young Fives operates Monday through Friday, with the school day running from:
8:30 a.m. – 3:25 p.m.
They also have early release on Tuesdays at 2:25 p.m.
Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a high-quality preschool program designed to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond.
Our GSRP program serves children born between January 1, 2022, and September 1, 2022. Children born between September 2, 2022, and December 1, 2022, are also accepted with a waiver and may be placed on our wait list based on program eligibility and available space.
Baby Birds Early Childhood Center has 32 available GSRP student spots. Because we have a limited number of spaces, once all 32 spots are filled, additional eligible applicants are placed on a wait list. Families remain on the wait list until a spot becomes available.
GSRP operates Monday through Thursday, with the school day running from:
8:30 a.m. – 3:25 p.m. GSRP has NO early release on Tuesdays.
Special Education Preschool
Our Special Education Preschool program serves preschool-aged children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) who qualify for special education services.
This program provides individualized support and specialized instruction based on each child’s unique educational needs. Our goal is to create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop.
Special Education Preschool operates Monday through Thursday, with the school day running from:
8:30 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.
